What a Rental Passport is—and what it is not

A Tensu Rental Passport is a private summary of selected rental records and verification signals associated with an account. It helps a recipient review information in one place instead of collecting unrelated screenshots and attachments.

It is not a credit report, background check, public review, legal reference or guarantee. It should not be used as the sole basis for a housing decision, and it does not replace checks required by applicable law.

The account holder controls when to create a share link and should review the visible summary before sending it. Expiry and revocation reduce future access, but cannot erase information a recipient has already copied.

Recipients should read each item in context: who provided it, whether another party confirmed it and what period it covers. A well-organized record supports judgment; it does not make the judgment.
