Answers for renting without chaos.
Practical guidance on accounts, records, subscriptions, Rental Passports, privacy, documents and the day-to-day work shared by tenants and landlords.
Getting started
Tensu is a rental management platform for tenants and independent landlords. It brings properties, leases, rent records, maintenance, documents, inspections, communication and Rental Passports into one organized workspace. It is designed for people who need a clear shared record without the complexity of enterprise property software.
Accounts and access
Use the recovery options offered on the sign-in screen. If you cannot recover access, contact support@tensu.app from the email address associated with the account. Tensu may ask for additional information to verify that the request is legitimate before changing account access.
Rent and payments
No. Tensu can record rent amounts, due dates, evidence and confirmation status, but it does not move rent, deposits or utility funds between users. Always verify the actual transfer with the bank or payment service used for the transaction.
Subscriptions and billing
Free and paid plan features are listed on the Pricing page and at checkout. Paid plans may add storage, export, reporting or multi-property capacity. The checkout screen is the controlling source for the price, billing interval, taxes and renewal terms for a purchase.
Rental Passport
A Rental Passport is a private, shareable summary of selected rental records and verification signals associated with an account. It is intended to make relevant history easier to review. It is not a credit score, background check, legal reference or guarantee of a person’s suitability.
Documents and privacy
Tensu is designed for tenancy-related files such as leases, notices, receipts, invoices, utility bills, inspection media and maintenance evidence. Upload only information you are entitled to store and share. Avoid adding unrelated sensitive information when it is not needed for the tenancy.
Maintenance and inspections
Describe the issue, choose the relevant property, add useful evidence and state whether the situation appears urgent. Tensu organizes the request and updates, but it is not an emergency service. For immediate risks to people or property, contact the appropriate emergency service, utility or responsible property contact directly.
Security and support
Tensu uses access controls and security measures intended to limit data to authorized users and service providers. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password, protect your email account and device, and report suspected unauthorized access to support@tensu.app.
