Landlord use case

A verifiable history of every tenancy.

Reliable, organised and verifiable, without forcing you into a giant property-management system.

  1. Create a property

Each property keeps its details, leases, renters, documents, utilities, maintenance and activity history connected.

  2. Invite the tenant

It keeps rent, deposit, dates, documents and obligations historically consistent across the product.

  3. Confirm records

That gives both sides a shared view of what was submitted, what was confirmed and what still needs resolution.

  4. Export the trail

PDF, Excel and CSV exports make it easier to review, archive or work with property, renter, payment and maintenance information.

See what is waiting for confirmation.

Keep documents, repairs and notices tied to the property.

Export cleaner applicant and portfolio records.

Features

The whole tenancy, in one place.

Tensu connects communication, properties, renters, repairs, reports, documents and Rental Passports without turning the tenancy into another spreadsheet.

Maintenance Requests

Maintenance is treated as structured operational history rather than message-only communication.

How it works: Users report the issue, attach evidence, move through review and in-progress states, then resolve and confirm the outcome.

Documents

Documents are stored against the right tenancy objects instead of floating loose in folders.

How it works: Users upload and classify files, then Tensu ties them to the relevant property, lease, notice, payment or inspection flow.

Notices

Formal notice records live inside the same shared rental history.

How it works: Landlords issue notices in context and the record becomes part of the tenancy timeline instead of disappearing into email threads.

Inspections

Inspections create structured move-in and move-out evidence.

How it works: The record captures room-by-room condition, attachments, notes, utility baselines and sign-off events.

Use cases

For tenants

FAQ

Answers for renting without chaos.

What is Tensu, and who is it for?

Tensu is a rental management platform for tenants and independent landlords. It brings properties, leases, rent records, maintenance, documents, inspections, communication and Rental Passports into one organised workspace. It is designed for people who need a clear shared record without the complexity of enterprise property software.

Can I use one account as both a tenant and a landlord?

Yes. One account can support both roles. Your access to a property, lease or document still depends on your relationship to that record, so using both roles does not expose one workspace to another.

How do I join a property or tenancy?

A landlord can create a property and invite the relevant tenant. Invitations should be sent only to people who are entitled to access that tenancy. Once accepted, both sides can work from the same lease context while keeping unrelated records private.

Does Tensu collect or transfer rent?

No. Tensu can record rent amounts, due dates, evidence and confirmation status, but it does not move rent, deposits or utility funds between users. Always verify the actual transfer with the bank or payment service used for the transaction.
